John Collins

John Collins is an accomplished operations leader with extensive experience in implementing Lean strategies across various industries. Currently serving as the Principal Lean Master at Donaldson since April 2024, John is responsible for supporting OPS Excellence teams globally, fostering a lean culture at multiple plants. Prior experiences include managing operations as a Plant Manager at MetaOps Inc, leading Kaizen and Six Sigma initiatives as an Improve Plant Manager at DSM, and providing strategic consulting as a Senior Lean Operations Consultant. John's career also encompasses roles such as Vice President of Operations at JTS Direct LLC and Senior Manager of Global Business Operations at Motorola. John holds a Master’s Degree in Operations and Technology Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, and an Associate's Degree in Electronics Technology from the Community College of the Air Force.
