Donius Insurance is an independent Erie Insurance agency and has proudly served the Greater DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis areas for over 50 years and currently serves more than 2,000 families and businesses in Maryland.

What makes Donius Insurance a truly unique insurance agency is the Agency owners. Each has worked for Erie Insurance Group as loss adjusters in previous careers, so we don’t only know what’s in an insurance policy, but we also have practical knowledge of how the policy functions after a loss occurs. As former loss adjusters, we examine our clients’ insurance needs through the eyes of individuals who have seen exactly what tragedies can befall a family or small business, and we use this experience to forecast the risk that our clients face.

Lives and businesses change annually—that’s a fact. That’s also why we commit to contacting each of our clients—whether by phone, fax, mail or e-mail—annually to ensure that their risk management program is performing as it should. When did your insurance agent contact you last to learn what’s new in your life?
