Founded by award-winning soprano and passionate advocate Gabriella Di Laccio, the Donne Foundation is leading a global movement to amplify women’s voices in music.

Through advocacy, groundbreaking research, and partnerships with iconic institutions, we’re closing the gender gap and redefining the future of the music industry.

Since 2018 we’ve made groundbreaking strides in addressing one of the music industry’s biggest challenges: the lack of visibility and opportunities for women.

Some of our achievements:

→ Built the largest database of women composers globally.
→ Published groundbreaking data featured in global media outlets such as The New York Times and BBC World Service.
→ Broke a Guinness World Record with a 26h concert featuring only works by women and non-binary composers
→ Created partnerships with Royal Albert Hall, Apple Music, and more.
→ Hosted transformative events and live performances celebrating women in music.
