Dan Schechner

Dan Schechner is an experienced executive in operations and business development, currently serving as General Manager for US Local Markets at DoorDash since September 2019. In this role, Dan leads a team focused on growth strategies and profitability across various geographies, including managing rural market adaptations and regulatory business responses. Previously, Dan held multiple general manager positions within DoorDash, overseeing operations in the Northeast and New York regions, as well as enhancing economic efficiencies in Manhattan. Prior to DoorDash, Dan was Managing Director of Corporate Development at AeroFarms, where Dan built a significant project pipeline. Early career experience includes a Vice President role at Macquarie Group, where Dan managed investments in North American private infrastructure. Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Engineering from Yale University.
