Jay Wallace

Jay Wallace is an Engineering Manager at DoorDash since March 2018, specializing in building Cloud Infrastructure and managing DoorDash's cloud platform. With prior roles as a Staff Engineer and Sr. Engineer, Jay has extensive experience in Kubernetes, including deploying and managing k8s during a hyper-growth phase. In addition to current responsibilities at DoorDash, Jay serves as an Advisor at Highlight, a Wrangler at Cowboy Ventures, a Limited Partner at Weekend Fund, and an Angel Fellow at On Deck. Previous experiences include significant positions at Nike as a Sr. Engineer, HashiCorp as an Engineering Lead and Solutions Engineer, Puppet Labs, Inc. as a Sr. Support Engineer, and co-founding bubblr, a location-based music startup. Jay holds a BS in Petroleum Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines and a BS in Petroleum Geology from the University of Oklahoma.
