Michael Davis is an accomplished software engineer and manager with extensive experience in software development and technical leadership. At Optimizely, Michael served as a Senior Staff Software Engineer focusing on Developer Experience and played a key role in developing Java and Golang SDKs, as well as leading the Optimizely Agent project. Prior to that, Michael worked as a Staff Software Engineer on the Data Platform, where significant contributions included architecting a dynamic storage and query engine and implementing cost-saving storage solutions. Michael's career also includes roles at Applied Underwriters and a Technical Account Manager position at Optimizely, where responsibilities involved pre-sales technical engagements and enterprise customer onboarding. Currently, Michael is with DoorDash, where responsibilities include serving as both a Software Engineer and Engineering Manager. Michael holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from San Diego State University.
