Ying Yang

Ying Yang is an accomplished data science and machine learning professional with extensive experience in leading AI initiatives across various industries. Currently serving as the Head of Merchant, Data Science-Machine Learning at DoorDash, Ying Yang manages a team of Machine Learning Engineers and spearheads AI/ML projects focused on merchant lifecycle enhancements. Previous roles include Tech Lead for AI-driven personalization at Intuit and Data Scientist at Facebook, where Ying Yang developed comprehensive consumer insights solutions and marketing strategies. As a former Tenure Track Assistant Professor at the University of Rhode Island, Ying Yang specialized in applied econometric models and health economics. Ying Yang holds a PhD in Econometrics and Quantitative Economics, along with multiple degrees from Tilburg University and a Bachelor's in Finance from Zhejiang University.
