Kahlil Gersbach

Kahlil Gersbach has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. In 2009, Kahlil worked as an Office Administrator at Bel Inc. where they served as the final check for specific diagrams and blueprints for art to be printed on various items, reached out to customers across the U.S. about specific design concerns, and communicated across several departments to track large orders and successfully manufacture and ship on schedule. In 2012, Kahlil worked as a Database Manager at the Student Opportunity Center where they trained junior members to manage and monitor the database of information, streamlined and enhanced the process of updating and inputting data, and implemented technical procedures, company policies, and standards for preserving the accuracy and security of data, reports and access. In 2015, Kahlil worked as a Retailer/Wholesaler at Amazon where they negotiated prices with different vendors, planned the logistics of shipped items, and anticipated consumer purchasing patterns. In 2017, Kahlil worked as a Clinical Coordinator at EnvisionRx where they ensured services were in compliance with professional and federal regulatory requirements, trained junior associates on correct procedures to systematically process claims, and monitored open insurance cases and their activities to ensure timely process of prescription. In 2018, Kahlil worked as a Web Developer while self-employed where they developed wireframes, site maps and content inventories for new website designs, applied knowledge of JavaScript and Object-Oriented Programming to create websites, and worked on personal projects to continue learning emerging technologies and tools. In 2019, Kahlil worked as a Software Developer at OnPoint where they used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python to create digital marketing offers on various domains, secured front end code against OWASP 10 vulnerabilities (Input validation, use HTTPS, etc), and optimized the impression and conversion statistics by A/B testing offers. In 2020, Kahlil worked as a Web Developer while self-employed where they worked with clients to achieve specific goals for the functionality, security, and aesthetics of their website, used debugging tools such as Firebug and Chrome Inspector to eliminate flaws and optimize run times, and coded full stack websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery languages. In 2021, Kahlil worked as an Owner/UAV Operator at Skywind Aerial Solutions. Finally, in 2023, Kahlil worked as a Technology Specialist at DoorLoop where they built rental property management software for the real estate industry, which was perfect for anyone with one property or large companies managing thousands.

Kahlil Gersbach attended Florida International University from 2010 to 2016, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Economics. In 2018, they completed a 400+ hour Full-stack Web Development Bootcamp at Ironhack. Kahlil has also obtained additional certifications from CompTIA and the Federal Aviation Administration, including CompTIA Security+ in September 2022 and a Part 107 Aviation License in November 2020.
