Shay Carmel

Shay Carmel is an accomplished product design leader currently serving as the Director of Product Design at DoorLoop since December 2024. With extensive experience in the field, Shay previously held the same title at WalkMe™ from January 2021 to December 2024, where leadership of a 14-member product design team and the establishment of a design system were key contributions. Previous roles include UX/UI Team Lead at Powtoon and backpack.io, and UI/UX Team Lead at Screenz, with significant involvement in user interface development for various SaaS platforms. Shay's foundational experience in design began with freelance work at Shay Carmel Studio and senior roles at companies such as Whitelabel and THE BOX ltd. Complementing a robust career in design, Shay holds a B.A. in Media Architecture from Sapir College and a certification in User Experience Design from Netcraft Academy.
