Ashley Wu

Ashley Wu has a diverse work experience in various roles within the design industry. Ashley has worked at dope.security as an Art Director & Product Marketing Manager, overseeing graphic design and marketing for the company. Additionally, they worked as a Senior Designer and Creative Strategist & Art Director at KUDOS Design Collaboratory™, where they developed visual concepts and managed projects involving brand systems, website design, publication design, and more.

Ashley Wu also has experience in the education field, working as an Adjunct Professor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, teaching advanced typography courses. Ashley has also held roles at Bitch Media, where they designed layouts and assisted on magazine production, and at NAAAP, where they volunteered as a Brand Guardian, designing campaign graphics for the non-profit organization's initiatives.

Prior to their professional career, Ashley Wu gained experience through internships at KUDOS Design Collaboratory™ and t-squared design inc., where they worked on various design projects such as logos, patterns, websites, and environmental graphics.

Additionally, Ashley Wu has experience in student leadership and residential life, having served as a Student Ambassador, Residential Advisor, and Assistant Resident Director at the Maryland Institute College of Art. Ashley also worked as a Teaching Assistant for Typography 1 courses, assisting instructors and providing support to students.

Throughout their career, Ashley Wu has demonstrated expertise in graphic design, art direction, brand strategy, website design, and user experience, while also having a passion for education and community involvement.

Ashley Wu attended the Maryland Institute College of Art from 2013 to 2017, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design.
