Sunil Kumar

Sunil Kumar has a strong background in software engineering and technical leadership. Sunil is currently serving as the Head of Cloud Engineering at dope.security, where they lead a team of architects and engineers in building a cloud platform with modern architecture. Prior to this, they worked at Symantec for over a decade, holding various roles including Technical Director, Sr. Principal Software Engineer, Principal Engineer, and Sr. Tech Lead. At Symantec, they designed and executed cyber security solutions in areas such as IoT, Cloud Security, OT, Identity, PKI, Authentication, and Web applications. Sunil also has extensive experience in developing security apps and features for iOS and Android platforms. Before joining Symantec, Sunil held positions at SafeNet, LG Soft India, Aricent (formerly FutureSoft), and Punjab Communications Ltd. Overall, Sunil has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and has demonstrated expertise in cloud engineering and cybersecurity.

Sunil Kumar attended Kurukshetra University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Computer Science and Engineering. In addition to their formal education, Sunil obtained two certifications from LinkedIn in 2022: "Cloud Architecture: Advanced Concepts" and "Learning Cloud Computing: Serverless Computing".
