Sam Oliveira

Sam Oliveira is an Assistant Professor at the Joint School of Nanoscience & Nanoengineering, with prior experience as a Co-Founder of Doroth and a Research Assistant Professor at Boston University. Sam's research history includes roles as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at CIDAR and DAMP Lab, and Research Laboratory Manager at BU's Foundry. As a PhD Student at Tampere University, Sam focused on assembling synthetic genetic clocks, with earlier experience in computational biology at Tampere University of Technology and bioinformatics at Universidade Estadual de Campinas. Sam holds a PhD in Information Technology for Health and Biology from Tampere University, as well as multiple degrees in biotechnology and engineering from various institutions.
