Ron Davis

Ron Davis is a seasoned professional in the field of engineering and controls, currently serving as a Senior SCADA Scientist at Dorsett Controls since October 2022. With extensive leadership experience, Ron has held significant roles at the Norfolk & Western Historical Society as Treasurer and President since June 2007, and previously as President and Chief Technology Officer at Sunapsys, Inc. from June 2006 to September 2022, where responsibilities included business development and management of a 15-employee firm. Prior experience includes serving as Principal Engineer at Synchrony Industrial Controls and leading various controls projects across diverse industries. Ron's career began at Alcatel and Bridgestone/Firestone Inc., with a solid educational foundation consisting of a Master’s in Integrated Manufacturing Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech.
