Athletikcoach Strength And Conditioning DOSB at German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB)

Cathrin Junker is a highly experienced sport physiotherapist and athletic coach with a focus on enhancing athletic performance and injury rehabilitation. Currently serving as the sport physiotherapist for the German National Women's Basketball Team since January 2024, Cathrin has a long-standing affiliation with the Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund (DOSB) since 2009, where roles have included athletic coaching and sport physiotherapy. Additional expertise stems from ownership of T2 Health Performance, providing comprehensive physical therapy and sports performance services, and leadership of a tennis-focused practice. Cathrin's extensive education includes degrees in applied kinesiology, osteopathy, and multiple certifications from the Barça Innovation Hub in sports nutrition and psychology, complemented by diverse roles with the WTA and various national sports teams in Germany.

The German Olympic Sports Confederation (DOSB) is the umbrella organization of German sport. We stand for performance, health, the joy of life and promotion of values. We represent more than 27 million memberships in almost 90.000 sport clubs and 100 member organizations, making the DOSB Germany's largest citizens' movement. The DOSB is a registered association (e.V.) with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main, supported by an office in Berlin and an EU office in Brussels. Its patron is the German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
