Uschi Schmitz is an accomplished sports executive with extensive experience in leadership roles. They served as the Chair of the Board at the Deutscher Hockey-Bund from 2000 to 2008 and later as the Managing Director at Deutscher Turner-Bund Service GmbH from 2009 to 2019. Uschi also held the position of Vice President of Competitive Sports and was a member of the PotAS Commission at the Deutscher Olympischer Sportbund (DOSB) from 2019 to 2021. Currently, Uschi is a member of the Executive Board at the Europäisches Olympisches Komitee.
