John Walling

John Walling, Ph.D., is a highly experienced drug development executive who has held positions in research, development, manufacturing, and Quality Assurance operations within a number of pharmaceutical companies and contract manufacturing organizations.

He is the principal consultant of Convergence CMC Consulting, LLC. His over 30 years of pharmaceutical industry experience has included assignments with Reata Pharmaceuticals, ILEX Oncology Inc., the Cambrex Corporation, Abbott Laboratories, and Salarius Pharmaceuticals.

He received a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University with a focus on natural products and synthetic chemistry.
