Doshisha University, founded in 1875, is a private university located in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. Under the educational principles of "Christianity", "Liberalism" and "Internationalism", Doshisha represents a total of 29,000 students in 14 faculties and 16 graduate schools in two main campuses, and has 169 overseas partner institutions in 39 counties and regions all around the world.
