🚀 Freddy Montes

Freddy Montes has worked in the tech industry since 2002. From 2002 to 2006, they were the General Manager at Tu Web Facil. From 2006 to 2007, they were the CTO at Mi Rumbita, C.A., where they designed and coded the website. From 2007 to present, they have been a Lead Frontend Developer at dotCMS. In this role, they have been responsible for the revamp of the DotCMS UI, completely rewriting from scratch all components and sections using Angular technologies. 🚀 Freddy has also been responsible for running all agile ceremonies, mentoring, creating, planning and tracking user stories, and meeting with the CTO and stakeholders to define the product path. Additionally, they have implemented design into dotCMS, creating templates, containers and contentlets to make it perfectly work with the CMS. 🚀 Freddy has used HTML, CSS, Javascript, jQuery, ReactJS, Sketch and Figma for design.

Freddy Montes received a BS in Advertising from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica between 2010 and 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Rafael Belloso Chacín between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Rails for Zombies Redux and Shaping up with AngularJS from Code School.
