Jose Castro

Jose Castro has worked in the software engineering field since 2008. Jose began their career as a Developer at Interfaz Software, where they were responsible for the migration of a legacy website to a more scalable and organized web application. In 2009, they moved to Intertec International (a.k.a Micra Consulting) as an Application Developer, where they maintained, supported and developed websites, intranets and customer service systems for Arbonne International. In 2011, they joined Prodigious Latin America as a Sr. Java Software Engineer, where they created and maintained Java-based components for a web content management system. Finally, in 2014, they began working as a Java Developer at dotCMS.

Jose Castro obtained a Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences from the Tecnológico de Costa Rica between 2005 and 2008. Jose also obtained an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 7 Programmer certification from ORACLE in March 2013.
