Megan Lawrence has over eight years of work experience. Megan began their career in 2013 as a Brand Representative for Justice. In 2015, they joined I Love Juice Bar LLC as a Kitchen and Line Prep, where they learned quickly and efficiently to be a part of the team that transitioned the concept into a success at WVU. In 2016, they completed an Internship with West Virginia University Extension Service. In 2017, they began working for N3 as a Microsoft Top Customer Success Manager, Business Development Representative, and Cisco Advisor. In 2018, they joined Mary Kay Global as an Independent Beauty Consultant. Finally, in 2022, they became a Customer Success Manager for dotCMS.

Megan Lawrence obtained a Bachelor's degree in English (Professional writing and editing) from West Virginia University between 2012 and 2016. Megan also holds two certifications from Microsoft and LinkedIn. The first certification is AZ900 from Microsoft which they obtained in August 2019, and the second is Planning a Microsoft Cloud Solution from LinkedIn which they obtained in February 2019.
