Vadym Kononenko

Vadym Kononenko has a long and varied work experience. Vadym began in 2007 with the University of Toronto Students' Union, where they held the roles of VP of Internal & Services and Division IV Director - Board of Directors. In 2011, they joined GE Capital as a Credit Analyst and Junior Risk Associate (Internship). Vadym then moved to Infrastructure Ontario in 2013 as a Transaction Finance Associate. In 2015, they were a Summer Associate - Industrials at Barclays Investment Bank, and then in 2016, they were promoted to Associate - Industrials. In 2018, they joined Hummingbird Technologies Ltd as CFO and Russia & Ukraine Country Head. In 2020, they co-founded Appleby Succession Capital, an entrepreneur led investment firm, and is currently President.

Vadym Kononenko received their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from INSEAD in 2015. Vadym passed the CFA Level III examination from CFA Institute in 2010-2012. From 2006 to 2010, they obtained their Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Toronto, specializing in Finance and majoring in Economics.
