Victor Alfaro

Victor Alfaro has been working in the software engineering industry since 2004. Victor began their career at Isthmus Costa Rica, where they worked as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they designed, developed, and deployed an insurance commercialization J2EE application, as well as a daemon application for a surveillance web application's database. Victor then moved to Roundbox Global in 2007, where they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and participated as a technical leader in the maintenance of a web application. In 2012, they joined Bodybuilding.com as a Software Engineer, where they participated in the development of a workout tracker and a food journal web application. In 2014, they moved to SecureLink as a Software Engineer, and in 2017 they joined Gorilla Logic as a Senior Java Engineer. Victor is currently employed at dotCMS as a Software Engineer.

Victor Alfaro obtained a Bachelor in Systems Engineering from Universidad Latina de Costa Rica between 1996 and 1999. In October 2018, they also obtained an AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
