Anna D'Amaro

Anna D'Amaro, LMFT (She/Her) has a diverse work experience in the mental health field. Anna started their career as an MFT Trainee at Palomar Family Counseling Services, where they worked with a wide range of clients. Anna later joined Sovereign Health Group Addiction, Dual Diagnosis & Mental Health as a Mental Health Clinician, providing therapy to adult patients with co-occurring and mental health diagnoses in a residential treatment center.

Anna then became a Clinical Therapist at Palomar Family Counseling Services, where they focused on establishing healthy relationships with individuals, children, and families dealing with various mental health diagnoses. Anna utilized evidence-based therapy to promote healthy behaviors, thoughts, and feelings.

In 2019, Anna joined Lyra Health as a Recruiter in Provider Network Development and quickly progressed to the positions of Senior Recruiter and then Manager. In these roles, they managed recruitment professionals, trained and coached teams, measured quality assurance in the recruitment process, and collaborated with stakeholders to develop recruitment strategies. Anna also presented metrics and outcome measures to executives and managed systems and scheduling tools.

Most recently, Anna is working as the Director of Clinical Recruitment at DotCom Therapy, where they oversee the recruitment process and ensures the successful onboarding of new clinical professionals.

Anna D'Amaro, LMFT (She/Her) earned a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from Alliant International University-Irvine, from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from California State University San Marcos, spanning from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Anna holds a certification as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from the Board Of Behavioral Sciences, achieved in October 2016. Anna also plans to obtain a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for HR Certificate from Cornell University in 2023.
