Leah Gregory-Johnson

Leah Gregory-Johnson is an experienced speech-language pathologist and educator with a diverse background in clinical and instructional roles. Currently serving as an Adjunct Instructor at Delta State University since August 2017, Leah teaches Sign Language I and II. Leah also holds the position of M.S., CCC-SLP at DotCom Therapy and Tara Therapy at Ruleville Nursing and Rehabilitation, where the focus is on therapy for a skilled nursing facility patient population with various mental illnesses, emphasizing cognition, language disorders, dysphagia, and behavior management. Additionally, Leah has contributed to the MS ASD Advisory Board as an Advisory Committee Member since December 2018. Previous experience includes a position as a speech therapist in the Sunflower County Consolidated School District, clinical externships in various healthcare settings, and a master's thesis focused on cognitive status and speech perception in aging adults. Leah holds a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of South Alabama and a Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Sciences from Delta State University.
