John Swiercek has over 40 years of experience in the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as a Systems Analyst II at DOT.Comm (Douglas Omaha Technology Commission) since May 1983, John has demonstrated expertise in systems analysis and technological applications. Additionally, John held the position of Athletic Director at St. Cecilia School from July 2000 to July 2010, contributing to the development of athletic programs during that period. John is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Douglas Omaha Technology Commission (DOTComm)
The Douglas-Omaha Technology Commission was created through an Interlocal Agreement in an effort to restructure all City and County technology functions under an independent Technology Commission. By merging the City of Omaha and Douglas County Information Services departments, DOTComm streamlines technology throughout the City and County, resulting in better, more cost-effective services to government agencies and taxpayers.
