Brendan Smyth

Brendan Smyth is the current publisher of Health at Dotdash Meredith. Brendan has over 20 years of experience in the publishing industry, with a focus on advertising revenue and sales team management. Prior to their current role, Brendan served as the Group Associate Publisher-East for Sunset Magazine + Coastal Living, where they successfully led the transformation of each brand's Sales and Marketing teams into a single integrated organization. Brendan has also held leadership positions at Family Circle and Midwest Living magazines. Brendan began their career in publishing as an account manager at Better Homes and Gardens magazine in 1998. Throughout their career, Brendan has been recognized for their ability to increase advertising revenue and drive growth for various publications.

Brendan Smyth has a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Marketing from Baruch College. Brendan also has certification from the IAB in IAB Digital Media Sales (ID# DMSCO4617).
