Daniel Fontanez

Daniel Fontanez, SHRM-CP, currently serves as the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Manager at Dotdash Meredith since June 2021, having previously held the position of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Associate. Prior experience includes roles at Montefiore Health System, where responsibilities spanned from Senior Human Resources Specialist to Human Resources Specialist and Workforce & Development Project Associate, with notable achievements like leading Mental Health First Aid training for over 300 employees and designing inclusive leadership training for more than 5,000 employees. Earlier in his career, at BestCare, Inc., Fontanez worked as a Senior Payroll Clerk, enhancing payroll accuracy and managing payroll for over 500 employees, and as a Trainee Coordinator, facilitating onboarding and recruitment for various health-related positions. Fontanez holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communications from the University of Mount Saint Vincent and a Master of Science in Human Resource Management from Mercy University.
