David Stone

David Stone is an experienced editor and content manager with a strong background in magazine publishing and brand communication. Currently serving as the Managing Editor at WOOD Magazine under Dotdash Meredith since May 2022, David has previously held key roles at Kreg Tool Company as Brand and Content Manager/Senior Content Specialist, achieving an 11% increase in brand awareness over three years. While at August Home Publishing, David successfully directed editorial operations for a national bimonthly magazine with 300,000 subscribers and contributed as a cast member in "The Woodsmith Shop" television program. Earlier experience includes serving as Features Editor at Better Homes & Gardens WOOD Magazine and progressing from Associate Editor to Assistant Editor at Workbench Magazine. David holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies from the University of Iowa.
