Blake Jackson has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications. Blake started their career as a Tourism Ambassador for the Conejos County Tourism Board, promoting local businesses and attractions. Blake then worked as a Print Specialist and Customer Service Representative at BYU-Idaho, where they gained expertise in print media and press operations. After that, they became a Digital Imaging Teaching & Lab Assistant at BYU-Idaho, teaching Adobe Creative Suite techniques and designing learning modules.
Blake then interned at Rich Broadcasting, providing administrative support and managing the stock photography database. Blake also interned at BBDO, where they supported the account management team and analyzed marketing communications for AT&T.
Blake's career then progressed to a role as Communications Manager at the Los Alamos Commerce & Development Corporation, where they handled all marketing responsibilities, managed a team, and designed and implemented marketing communication plans. Blake later transitioned to the role of Marketing Coordinator at the Santa Fe Convention and Visitors Bureau, gaining insights into working in the public sector and maintaining relationships with community stakeholders.
Currently, Blake is working at Dotdigital, where they have held multiple roles, starting as an Online Marketing Executive and progressing to Head of Online Marketing and Global Head of Marketing. In their current roles, they have brought process efficiencies and strong design sensibilities to the online marketing team, contributing to a robust global B2B lead generation and lead nurture effort.
Blake Jackson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication - Advertising from Brigham Young University - Idaho, graduating in 2011. Prior to that, they obtained a High School Diploma from Centauri High School in 2006. Blake has also received additional certifications from institutions such as Jellyfish Training and LinkedIn, specializing in various areas of photography and advertising.
