David Jones

David Jones has a strong background in data science and analysis. David most recently worked as a Lead Data Scientist at dotdigital. Prior to that, they held the same role at FedEx, where they also served as a Senior Data Scientist. David also worked as a Data Scientist at TNT and 510.global. David gained experience in data analysis as a Data Analyst at Adyen. David started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Radboud University and as a Max-Planck Fellow at the Max-Planck Institute for Nuclear Physics. Additionally, they completed summer internships at the Victorian Partnership for Advanced Computing and the Australia Telescope National Facility.

David Jones earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) with Honours in Mathematics from Monash University, where they attended from 2000 to 2005. David later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Astronomy and Astrophysics at the University of Adelaide, completing their studies from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their academic degrees, David has acquired several certifications related to machine learning and TensorFlow on the Google Cloud Platform through various Coursera courses.
