Shefali Bohra is a seasoned design professional with a diverse background in user experience, product design, and engineering. Currently serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Dotplot since July 2022, Shefali has previously worked as a Design Engineer at TG0 and as a UI/UX Designer at Walk With Path Limited. Experience in user research and design strategy was gained at Fractal, while earlier roles included Experience Designer at the Museum of Solutions and Footwear Designer at Wildcraft India. Educational qualifications include an MSc and MA in Innovation Design Engineering from Imperial College London and the Royal College of Art, respectively, as well as a Bachelor of Design in Industrial and Product Design from the National Institute of Design, complemented by an exchange semester at Ecole des Arts Décoratifs and a summer program at Central Saint Martins, University of The Arts London.

Right now, there exists multiple techniques and methods for completing these self-checks, which has caused confusion amongst several women and hence a lack of adherence to a regular routine. Others worry that the moment a lump is found, death is certain. This has deterred women from checking their breasts as regularly as they should, in fear of feeling a lump or abnormality. Our goal at Dotplot is to eliminate the confusion and misconceptions surrounding self-checks. We want women to take care of their breast health with confidence, clarity, and ease.
