Sahil Hasan

Sahil Hasan has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. In their most recent position, they served as the CEO and Co-Founder of Dots (Divisible Inc) starting in 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Google as a Research Engineer from 2020 to 2021, focusing on building scalable computer architecture. Before that, they were an AI Resident at X, the moonshot factory (formerly Google[x]) from 2019 to 2019, where they worked on distributed experiments and created an efficient distributed evolutionary system. Sahil also worked at Symantec as an Endpoint Security Products Intern from 2017 to 2018, leading research and development projects in network traffic analysis and data security. Additionally, they gained experience as a High Performance Computing/Build Engineer Intern at Berkeley Lab in 2017, a Software Developer and Build Engineer intern, and an Associate Application Development Intern at Workday in 2016. Earlier in their career, Sahil worked as a Research Intern at the NASA Ames Research Center in 2014, focusing on designing efficient systems for optical fiber coupling, and as a Research Intern at UC Santa Cruz from 2013 to 2015, developing real-time applications for public transportation systems.

Sahil Hasan completed their education in a chronological order, starting with their high school education at Lynbrook High School from 2011 to 2015. Sahil then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, from 2015 to 2018. After completing their bachelor's degree, Sahil continued their education at Carnegie Mellon University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Computer Science, specializing in MSCS, from 2018 to 2019.
