[ 0x00: DOTSTAR_SYSTEMS ]

We don't just advise on wireless stacks — we maintain them. Chaitanya Tata, founder and principal, is the official Zephyr Project Wi-Fi Maintainer and nRF Wi-Fi Driver Maintainer. When ZephyrRTOS needed a native Wi-Fi subsystem built from scratch, Dotstar built it. It now ships on NXP and Nordic platforms worldwide.

18 years engineering wireless inside silicon — from pre-silicon FPGA bringup and 802.11ax MAC validation to upstream hostap contributions and production IoT deployments. Every engagement is founder-led, principal-accountable, and signed off before it reaches you.

[ 0x01: WHO ENGAGES DOTSTAR ]

→ Silicon vendor — 802.11ax/be bringup, pre-silicon driver scaffolding, MAC validation before tape-out
→ IoT product team — Matter, Thread, BLE, LTE-M/NB-IoT on Nordic nRF; WPA3, PSA Crypto, TF-M hardening
→ Firmware team blocked — ZephyrRTOS Wi-Fi, hostap, wpa_supplicant, Linux wireless: we maintain all of them upstream
→ Startup — TinyML and edge AI on constrained IoT hardware, without months of ramp-up

[ 0x02: CORE PILLARS ]

0x01 — Wireless Depth
Driver development across 802.11a through 802.11be. Upstream contributions to ZephyrRTOS, linux-wireless, hostap, OpenWRT, and Wireshark — not forks that disappear at the next vendor release.

0x02 — Hardened Security
Hardware Root of Trust, PSA Crypto, TF-M/TrustZone, TLS/DTLS, secure OTA. The hostap PSA Crypto backend — upstream reference for TrustZone platforms — was built here.

0x03 — Edge Intelligence
On-device model fine-tuning, quantization, and deployment on resource-constrained IoT hardware. Offline intelligence where cloud connectivity can't be guaranteed.

[ 0x03: THE SELECT FEW ]

A limited number of engagements at any time. No junior bench. No black-box subcontracting. Clients include Nordic Semiconductor, Quantum Networks, and MeshPlusPlus.

For CTOs and VPs of Engineering who need a named expert accountable for outcomes.
