Cleo Becker

Cleo Becker is the current head of legal at Dott. Cleo has over thirteen years of experience working in various legal positions. Becker started their career as a junior lawyer at Fairbridges Wertheim Becker Attorneys. Cleo then worked as a legal conference producer at C5 Communications. In 2008, they joined Hitachi Data Systems as a junior lawyer. After a year at Hitachi Data Systems, they moved to Intaka Tech where they served as legal counsel for just under two years. In 2010, Becker began working at Bernadt Vukic Potash and Getz as an attorney. Cleo stayed with the company for just over two years before moving to their current position at Dott.

Cleo Becker has a Master of Laws (LLM) in Commercial Law from the University of Cape Town, as well as a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the same school. Cleo also has a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Cape Town, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Law and Psychology from the same school. Cleo is certified by the State Bar of California as an Attorney in the State of California, USA, and is also certified by the Solicitors Regulation Authority as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of England and Wales. Cleo is further certified by the Law Society of South Africa as an Attorney in the High Court of South Africa, and is also certified by the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E).

Cleo Becker reports to Henri Moissinac, Co-Founder & CEO. They are on a team with Sebastian Schlebusch - Head of Market Development, Alan Price - VP of Talent Acquisition, and Kristina Gibson - Head of Product & Growth – Rider.
