At Dotterer Educational Consulting, we developed the CROWN framework to train educators and business managers to transcend writing problems, called dysgraphia, from young students through adulthood.

People with dysgraphia experience situations that need increased support, while other days seem to fly by without a problem.

We train you to share intervention strategies, so your students or employees have the best opportunities to express themselves through written communication.

C — Connect disability attributes (sometimes invisible) to design effective communication across the lifespan
R — Reward awareness and advocacy for dysgraphia
O — Own responsibility for the social-emotional impact imposed on the community by dysgraphia
W — Wield empathy and sincerity for people with difficulty writing, no matter their age
N —Normalize innovative methods that streamline evaluation, intervention, and outcomes

We offer one-hour, 1/2 day, and full-day workshops plus keynote speaking to help you show your students and employees to wear their CROWN proudly, both virtually and in person.

Topics:
Dysgraphia, what is it anyway?
Dysgraphia in the elementary student
Dysgraphia in middle and high school
Transitioning your dysgraphic student to college
How can you support your employee with writing challenges?
Developing grit, tenacity, and unhackability with a disability in written expression
Taking off the mask of dysgraphia: the social-emotional impact
Discovering purpose while living with dysgraphia

For private and parochial schools, we use the Bible story of Esther to demonstrate awareness, empathy, and responsibility for dysgraphia.
