Sumit Gupta

Sumit Gupta has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Sumit is currently the CTO and Co-Founder of DoubleLoop, a position they started in 2020. Prior to this, Sumit worked at Catch&Release, Inc. where they served as the founding CTO and Head of Product from 2015 to 2019. In this role, they were responsible for product design, technical decisions, building and managing an engineering team, and participating in funding rounds. Before that, they were the Lead Engineer at Kurbo Health from 2013 to 2015, where they built backend systems and managed technical decisions. Sumit also held the position of Director of Engineering at Tout in 2012, and was the Lead Engineer at Stipple, Inc from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Staff Engineer at Ooga Labs in 2009 and as a Senior Software Engineer at Yardbarker.com from 2006 to 2009, where they played a key role in scaling the site. Sumit's earlier roles include being a Technical Producer at ESPN.com in 2005 and a Software Engineer at BlueTie Inc. from 1999 to 2001. Throughout their career, Sumit has demonstrated a strong technical skill set and a focus on creating maintainable and robust systems.

Sumit Gupta attended Boston University from 2001 to 2005, where they pursued a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Mathematics.
