Double Scribble is a drawing practice capturing the essence of professional basketball through daily pen-on-paper illustrations. For the past half decade, I have been documenting NBA and WNBA games in real time, creating a visual chronicle of basketball history in black and white.

Double Scribble began as a curated blog showcasing basketball art from various illustrators, culminating in four gallery shows in major cities across the United States. In 2018, the blog shifted focus to showcasing my own work exclusively.

Since then, I have produced nearly 2,000 figure-based illustrations, each one capturing the dynamic energy of professional basketball games. My process involves gesture-based drawings from game photographs and result in lively illustrations that mirror the pace and excitement of the sport.
