Scott Hinkle

Scott Hinkle is a board member at DoubleCheck Solutions and was previously with Acumen Insurance Solutions. Scott has also been with Grant Hinkle & Jacobs as managing partner from January 2000 to May 2021. Their responsibilities have included helping CEOs and CFOs of credit unions, non-profits, and successful businesses to maximize their Supplemental Executive Retirement Plans (SERPs) and improve the performance of their safest, most liquid assets.

Hinkle has been successful in helping organizations reduce or even offset 100% of the cost of SERPs to the organization, as well as increasing the yield on liquid capital. Scott has also worked with corporate-owned life insurance (COLI) programs to allow organizations to earn a greater yield on their safest and most liquid capital.

Hinkle’s ideal clients are non-profit organizations such as credit unions, hospitals, health clinics, museums, universities, and larger businesses with liquid reserves and/or who would like to install a SERP program to attract, reward, and retain key executives.

Scott Hinkle completed a Juris Doctor at Concord Law School at Purdue University Global and a B.A. in Business Economics at UC Santa Barbara. Scott is certified as an Attorney at Law by the San Diego County Bar Association and as a Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards by the CFP Board.
