Leslie Kimerling

Co-Founder and CEO at Double Helix Optics

Leslie Kimerling has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2013, they co-founded Double Helix Optics, a startup focused on developing and commercializing computational optical-digital technologies. Prior to this, Leslie founded and served as the President of Isis Partners from 2001 to 2014. Leslie also held the position of President and COO at Navitas from 2005 to 2007 and served as President of Worklinks from 2000 to 2001. Leslie's earlier career includes roles as Senior VP Strategic Planning and CIO at Town Sports International from 1994 to 2000, and as a Manager at Cornerstone Research from 1988 to 1993. In addition to their entrepreneurial experience, Leslie currently serves as a Member of the Board of Advisors at the Price Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation at UCLA Anderson School of Management since 2021. Leslie is also a proud member of Chief, a private network dedicated to empowering women leaders, starting from 2022.

Leslie Kimerling holds an MBA degree in Finance and Strategy from UCLA Anderson School of Management, which they obtained from 1987 to 1989. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Arts degree in Economics at Stanford University from 1985 to 1987. Leslie'sundergraduate studies were completed at the University of Pennsylvania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies between 1979 and 1983.
