Alex Ivy has a diverse work experience, starting with freelance internet marketing and web development in 2006. They then worked as a software developer and R&D team leader in the Israeli Air Force, developing multi-layered enterprise applications. In 2012, Alex became a senior software engineer at Matrix, where they developed a web intelligence system. From 2013 to 2015, they worked as an R&D team leader at IdentyTech Solutions Ltd., developing identity and access management solutions. They also co-founded and served as the CTO of Mevukashim from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, Alex joined Verint as a senior R&D team leader, leading a large group of software engineers and driving front-end development. From 2017 to 2019, they worked as an R&D group manager at PerimeterX, building a highly scalable SaaS cyber security platform. From 2019 to 2021, Alex served as the VP of R&D at SecureNative, where they disrupted the cybersecurity space by building a unified application security platform. Currently, they are working at DoubleVerify as the Senior Director of Engineering and will become the VP of Engineering BrandSafety & Platforms in 2023.

Alex Ivy completed an Executive MBA in Business Administration and Management from Bar-Ilan University in 2018-2019. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The College of Management Academic Studies in 2013-2016. They also pursued Computer Science studies at The Open University of Israel from 2011-2013 and obtained a Software Practical Engineer degree in Computer Science from Ort Singalovski College in 2008-2009.
