Matt Kopit is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and product development. Currently serving as SVP of Engineering at DoubleVerify since January 2022, Matt leads the engineering teams for the Social Platform products and oversees the integration of OpenSlate's products following its acquisition. Prior to this role, Matt was the CTO of OpenSlate from March 2016 to January 2022, where significant contributions to business and technical strategies helped establish trust with major advertisers and expand the platform across leading social media channels. Matt's career at Viacom spanned a decade, during which various leadership roles included VP Technology for the Always On News Platform and Viacom Music Group, where oversight of engineering teams and development of digital properties led to successful projects and substantial investments. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
