Mayank Shah

Mayank Shah has extensive work experience in the field of data engineering and analysis. Mayank is currently working at DoubleVerify as a Lead Data Engineer since February 2023. Prior to this, they worked at theSkimm from August 2020 to February 2023, where they held the positions of Senior Data Engineering Manager and Senior Data Engineer. Mayank also served as a Data Engineering Manager at BARK from October 2018 to August 2020.

Before BARK, Mayank was a Senior Data Engineer at Live XYZ from December 2017 to October 2018. Mayank also briefly worked as a Data Scientist/Data Engineer at the same company from May 2017 to November 2017.

Mayank gained their foundational skills in data science through a Data Scientist Bootcamp at the NYC Data Science Academy from January 2017 to April 2017.

Prior to transitioning into the field of data engineering, Mayank worked as an Instagram Brand/Data Analyst at Facebook from January 2015 to November 2016. Earlier in their career, they also served as the Founder of HuddleUp LLC from August 2013 to December 2014 and as a Financial Analyst at IEM from August 2011 to August 2013.

Mayank Shah attended Tulane University from 2007 to 2011, majoring in Finance, General. In 2017, they enrolled at the Harvard Extension School and completed a degree in Data Science from 2017 to 2019. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Spark and Python for Big Data with Pyspark from Udemy in 2017.
