Tom Potash

Tom Potash is an experienced software engineering manager specializing in data platform development, currently leading the Data Platform Team at DoubleVerify since 2019. In this role, Tom oversees the creation of a scalable big data Lakehouse platform utilizing Databricks and Google Cloud Platform, while also managing and mentoring a skilled team of data engineers. Previously, Tom held positions such as Senior Data Engineer and Data Engineer, where responsibilities included leading a significant data migration project and managing Fraud ETL processes. Prior to DoubleVerify, Tom worked at Matomy as a Data Engineer and Data Analyst, focusing on big data pipelines and user classification using machine learning. Tom began a career in research at Ben Gurion University, gaining experience in data collection and statistical analysis. Tom holds a Master's degree in Information Science from Bar-Ilan University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Psychology from Ben-Gurion University.
