Douglas Joshua is a boutique estate agency based in Bishop’s Stortford, founded on one simple idea: two experienced people, one shared standard.

Built by Doug Hazell and Josh Davison, the business brings together deep local knowledge, proven experience, and a modern, considered approach to buying and selling property. We believe the best results come from clarity, consistency, and accountability, not noise or gimmicks.

We work closely with our clients from first conversation to completion, keeping the process straightforward, calm, and transparent throughout. No hand-offs. No jargon. Just clear advice, honest positioning, and thoughtful strategy tailored to each home and each situation.

Douglas Joshua is grounded in the community we serve, but built for how people live, work, and make decisions today. Combining personal service with modern execution, we focus on selling better, elevating the experience, and building long-term trust.

Property is rarely just a transaction. It’s a life decision, and it deserves to be handled properly.

Two names. One standard.
