Matthew Taylor

Matthew Taylor has extensive experience in the field of digital and mixed-signal IC development, having held positions at leading companies such as Doulos, Sony, and Roke Manor Research. At Doulos since June 2014, Matthew serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees and as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, specializing in training for VHDL, Verilog, SystemVerilog, and UVM, while also maintaining the EDA Playground website. Prior experience at Sony from September 1997 to April 2014 includes roles as a Manager overseeing algorithm and IP development for digital TV standards, as well as project management and team leadership in digital IC development. Matthew's technical foundation is supported by a Master's degree and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Bath, earned between 1985 and 1990.
