Thomas Winkler

Thomas Winkler has over two decades of work experience in a variety of roles within the sales, marketing, and general management sectors. Thomas currently serves as the VP of Sales and Business Development for Europe and Asia at Doulos. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Sales and Marketing at Axivion GmbH from 2018 to 2022. From 2014 to 2018, Thomas worked at ARCCORE GmbH as the Vice President Europe/General Manager, and from 2013 to 2014, they served as the Vice President Europe at Arccore AB. Before that, they held the position of Director of European Sales at IAR Systems AB from 2008 to 2013. Thomas also has experience running their own consulting business, Thomas Winkler Consulting, from 2007 to 2010. Thomas has held executive positions at Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH and Enea Embedded Technology GmbH, and began their career as a Field Application Engineer at Wind River Systems GmbH.

Thomas Winkler's education history includes a diploma in electrical engineering from Universität Rostock, which they completed from 1991 to 1997. In 2003 to 2006, they pursued an MBA at The Open University. Later, from 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Master of Science degree in International Finance and Management from the same institution. Additionally, from 1982 to 1988, Winkler attended Sportschule and earned an Abitur, a general qualification for university entrance.
