Dove Youth Development is a non-profit organization based in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic serving 140-160 children between the ages of 6-18 from underprivileged neighborhoods. Through after-school programs, we provide a safe and supportive environment where kids and their families can learn, grow and build positive life experiences.

Our mission is to empower young people to become agents of change within their communities. Through our Vocational Training Center, students gain practical skills and career readiness through programs such as job preparedness and English as a Second Language. We also offer coaching, job placement support, and supervised internship opportunities to help bridge the gap to employment or higher education.

Our graduates have gone on to pursue diverse paths: professional sports, careers in tourism and healthcare, higher education in fields like nursing and engineering and entrepreneurship; launching businesses such as catering services, retail ventures, and skilled trades.
