Rhys Johns

Rhys Johns is a software engineer who currently works at Dovetail. Rhys has also worked at ENSEK from January 2022 to April 2022, where they were a senior software engineer. In their role at Dovetail, they tackle many engineering challenges and helps develop the Distributed Control System that is at the heart of the Pooled Energy product. Rhys is also responsible for the tooling to help manage this system, which includes full stack development, software architecture, QA, and debugging of hardware components. Additionally, they have experience with platform migration, prototyping, and cloud infrastructure.

Rhys Johns has a Bachelor of Information Technology - Game Design and Development from Macquarie University. Rhys also has a Diploma of Digital And Interactive Games and a Certificate 4 of Games Design from TAFE NSW. In addition, they have a Certificate 4 of Programming from TAFE NSW.

Rhys Johns reports to Bradley Ayers, Co-founder & CTO. Rhys Johns works with Chris Doble - Tech Lead, Scott Sidwell - Software Engineer, and Ed Hatrick-Smith - Engineering Manager.
