Akash Arora

Akash Arora is a Senior Research Specialist at Dow since March 2021, with prior experience as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from June 2018 to March 2021. Arora’s academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota (2012-2018), where roles included Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant for various courses. Earlier, a Graduate Research Assistant at the National Chemical Laboratory from August 2010 to July 2012 focused on the fingering instability in spin coating flows. Arora also completed a Research Internship at the Indian Institute of Petroleum and a Summer Internship at ONGC. Arora holds a Master's Degree in Advanced Modeling and Simulation from the National Chemical Laboratory, Pune, India, and a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani.
