Andreas Schmitt is a seasoned supply chain professional with extensive experience in senior leadership roles at Dow Chemical. Currently serving as Senior SC Technology and Project Director since January 2022, Andreas previously held positions including SC Director Site Logistics Operations EMEAI/APAC and SC Integration Director, overseeing logistics operations across eight large sites in EMEAI and APAC. Additionally, Andreas was the Senior Supply Chain Director for the Sadara Project, orchestrating the supply chain for the largest chemical project built at one time. Early in the career, Andreas worked as Global SC Director for Polyethylene/Polystyrene at Dow Engineering Plastics and as SC Manager for Engineering Plastics, managing supply chains across multiple European production sites. Andreas earned an Engineer's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences in Trier and completed the Abitur at Hindenburg Gymnasium Trier.
